Trip to Nuwaraeliya

 Last month I went  on picnic with my family members. It was a nice journey and we really enjoyed it well. we decided to go that trip in our van. As we expected going by car was easier for us than going by bus. we went this picnic for a days and that was a good experience for me.





Actually we went to Nuwara eliya as our trip because I had not been to Nuwara eliya until then. we started our journey early morning and my mother had prepared breakfast for us. After only five hours we reached our destination and we had our breakfast during our journey.


My father had already booked hotel room for us. Therefore we decided to stay there and get some break. The day after that we went to Horton Plans. Indeed that environment is very beautiful. Therefore we took lot of photos as a memories.


After that we went Gregory Lake and stayed therefor awhile after that we came back to the hotel and get our dinner with small talk. The next morning we left the hotel and all of us really enjoyed that trip.

  Pets are not merely animals living with us. I have always wanted a pet and last week my father bought me a puppy💗😍. She was the most adorable and beautiful puppy I had ever seen. We decided to name our new German Shepher, Merly.  Merly had black and long ears. Her eyes were always joyful,🐶🐶 and he was a bundle of joy. He loved eating roasted chicken and yoghurt. At night, she would cuddle up in my bed, next to me, and go to sleep.  My father had created a small sleeping area for Merly, but she never slept there. She loved sleeping next to me at night. Merly was an active dog. She loved to go on walks. We took her to the park twice a day. She became very popular among my friends. She was a favorite in my family. We treated her like other member and took her everywhere we went. We occasionally went on road trips, and Merly loved to ride the car.  Maintaining a pet comes with many responsibilities, and we must fulfill them and do what is best for our pets.

National Hero ( Weera Puranappu)

 Puran Appu was born in 1812 November 07th at Uyana Moratuwa. His father name is Weerahannadige Kalisthoru Fernando and his mother name is Vidanelage Helena Noris . He went to Weslyan college, Moratuwa. At age of 13 years left Moratuwa.  Thereafter served under a relation of his. later worked at a gravet or thorn gate at Kalupahana . he came to Uva Province, changed his name to Puran Appu. Imprisoned for breaking in and robbing the home of Badulla Chief Magistrate.  He got married to Bandara Menike of Harispattuwa accused of conspiary against British Government, together with the help of Gongalegoda Banda and Dheenis. Released from prison because of insufficient evidence in 1843. His daughter name is Siribara Menike. Led Revolted against British demanding independance for ceylon - one leader of the revolt in 1848. Appointed as sword- bearer to Gongalegoda banda of Dambulla and carried out civil disturbance at Matale in 1847.  Warrant sent out by britain for the arrest of weera puran ap
